Important Term 1 Reminders
To ensure a smooth and organised start to the year, please take note of the following key requirements:
🧢 No Hat, No Play
Garden College follows a strict No Hat, No Play policy. All students must bring and wear a hat during outdoor activities.
💧 Water Bottles Are Essential
Due to the warm weather in Term 1, students must bring a water bottle daily.
📚 Textbooks & Stationery
Please ensure that your child’s textbooks and stationery are organised and ready before the first day of school.
Reception & Year 1 Attendance (Week 1)
Reception Students
A special reminder for Reception families: students must attend only as per their allocated groups, based on the letter sent to families.
Year 1 Students
Please note that Year 1 students will attend Wednesday and Friday only for Week 1.
Bus & Shuttle Transport Information
To support punctual and safe travel for all students:
- Bus students must be ready and waiting at their designated bus zones on time.
- 🚍 Shuttle bus to Modbury departs at 8:25am sharp — families are encouraged to arrive early to avoid missing the service.
Car Park Safety – Strict Rules Apply
We kindly remind all parents to follow our car park rules to keep students, staff and families safe during drop-off and pick-up times:
- ⚠️ Speed limit: 10 km/h
- 📵 No mobile phone use while inside the car park
- 🚧 Follow all signage and traffic flow directions
- 👮 Please strictly follow staff instructions at all times
Your cooperation is essential to maintain a safe and smooth drop-off and pick-up routine.
2026 School Fees Now Due
School fees for 2026 are now due, including bus fees for families using the bus service.
