Garden College had a special celebration for Eid Day. Students dressed up in their Eid clothes and had a great time with their friends and teachers. The day began with some wise words from Shaykh Abdulsalam Alim and Shaykh Haisam Kabbara, who reminded everyone about the importance of Eid and being thankful to Allah SWT for all the good things in life. They also asked everyone to think about people suffering around the world, especially those in Gaza.
Throughout the day, students took part in lots of fun activities like badminton, volleyball, and chess competitions. They also enjoyed tasty burgers made by students and staff.
As the day wrapped up, everyone wished each other well, hoping the bond of friendship would last forever.
To remind everyone about the importance of gratitude, The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He who does not thank the people is not thankful to Allah SWT.
