On 16th September, both Garden College campuses hosted our Annual Quran Competition, celebrating the dedication and talent of our students. Participants competed in various categories based on their memorisation, with finalists recognised for their exceptional tajweed, pronunciation, and etiquette.
We were honoured to have our esteemed judges – Shaykh Abdulsalam, Shaykh Hikmet Ozturk, Br Halil Muhammad, and Sister Aziza Khelil – lead the sessions with care and encouragement. Every participant was celebrated for their efforts, alongside their Quranic teachers and supportive parents, who play an essential role in guiding them.
The event concluded with a heartfelt reminder from Shaykh Abdulsalam, our Quranic and Islamic Studies teacher, encouraging students to remain humble and steadfast in following the teachings of the Quran.
