Iron hook boxing incursion
Term 2 | 2021
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “The strong man is not the good wrestler, but the strong man is he who controls himself when he is angry.”
We sincerely thank Brother Ibrahim Jaroudi from Iron Hook Boxing for taking the time to share the importance of physical fitness, well-being and self-control with our students at both campuses.
We look forward to more sessions like these.

STEM Day Out
UNISA Excursion – May 2021
Our senior students spent a day experiencing Science, Engineering and Maths at University of South Australia with great company.
Our students loved the activities conducted as it allowed them to see the link between STEM based subjects and how learning is a holistic approach which can lead us to solving 21st century problems.
Well Done to our Students for being enthusiastic young learners!

HARMONY DAY PARAFILED CAMPUS
Parafield Campus students enjoyed dressing up to celebrate National Harmony Day last week.
Australia is a nation of diverse cultural backgrounds and this annual event promotes inclusiveness, respect, national pride and a sense of belonging for all.
Many students chose to wear the national costume of another country with which their family enjoys a connection.
It was all part of promoting Harmony Day’s message “everyone belongs,”

On the 15th of March, the year 10 Integrated Studies class hosted our annual Harmony Day for 2021.
Students hosted a range of activities including a BBQ lunch, casual day (orange or cultural dress), a dodge ball and Kahoot tournament, and cultural stalls.
Thank you to all students and staff who participated and got involved in one way or another. I am very proud of my students for both their preparation for the event and for their efforts on the day.
At Garden College we believe it’s important to Teach our Students about contemporary issues that we are all facing in a challenging world “Online”. It is through stories and active role-play that we were able to secure a live performance by Brainstorm Productions on ‘Cyberia’.
The Performance was aimed at educating our teenagers on our moral compass online, the stigma associated with Mental Health and encourages positive relationships and help-seeking.
Have a look at some of the photo’s to get a glimpse of the Cyberia Performance at Elizabeth Campus.
