Year 12 Graduation – Class of 2025

Friday the 21st November marked a meaningful milestone as we gathered at the elegant Adelaide Pavilion, surrounded by the tranquillity of nature and a warm sense of pride. The atmosphere was filled with joy and admiration as distinguished guests, dedicated families, and the remarkable Year 12 Class of 2025 came together to celebrate a journey many years in the making.

The evening showcased growth, resilience, and achievement. Among the many successes recognised, Arda Yanar received the Dux Award, Yahya Mekael was presented with the Principal’s Award, and Dalia Hmoud earned the Ambassador Award — honours reflecting excellence, character, and leadership.

The ceremony was expertly guided by Mr John Davos, our SACE Coordinator. Through his humour, calm presence, and depth of understanding, he created a warm and engaging atmosphere, ensuring the night was both memorable and enjoyable for everyone in attendance.

Heartfelt words and encouragement were shared by respected members of our school community and special guests, including Dr Ahdielah Edries, School Principal; Mr Mustafa Ayvaz, School Board Secretary; Ms Anne Dunstan, CEO of AISSA; Mr Hakan Ozdemir, Board Director and representative of the ICMG Adelaide Chapter; and Mr John Fulbrook MP, who joined as a distinguished guest in support of the graduates. The presence of former students added a touching layer of legacy, unity, and inspiration.

A profound moment of reflection came from Shaykh Abdulsalam Alim, our Qur’anic and Islamic Studies teacher, who shared timeless Islamic guidance. He reminded the graduates that true success is not solely defined by academic or professional achievement, but by sincerity, humility, and being mindful of Allah SWT in all that one pursues. His words offered spiritual grounding and wisdom as students step forward into their futures.

The evening concluded with hearts full — full of pride, full of hope, and full of gratitude.

May Allah SWT bless the Class of 2025 with clarity in their intentions, strength in their endeavours, and serenity in their hearts. May He guide them with wisdom, protect them from hardship, and grant them success in this life and everlasting success in the Hereafter.

Ameen.
