Celebrating Achievements, Embracing New Beginings
Salam Alaikum dear Garden College Community
As Term 2 has come to an end, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful parents, dedicated students, and committed staff for their continued support and dedication throughout this term. The past few months have been filled with a plethora of enriching learning activities that our students have thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from.
Your collective efforts have made this term a resounding success, and we can look forward to the future with optimism and excitement. As we approach Term 3, I am delighted to share that we have an equally engaging and stimulating array of activities planned.
Our students can look forward to:
Science Week: A week dedicated to exploring the wonders of science through handson experiments and engaging demonstrations.
Bullying No Way Week: An important week focusing on raising awareness about bullying and promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Book Week: Celebrating literature with various activities designed to foster a love of reading.
National Literacy and Numeracy Week: Enhancing our students’ literacy and numeracy skills through targeted activities and challenges.
Annual Qur’anic Competition: Encouraging our students to showcase their memorisation and understanding of the Qur’an.
Sports Day: Promoting physical fitness and teamwork through various sports and games.
In addition to these events, we have planned several exciting excursions and incursions to further support our students’ learning experiences.
Please note that the school will resume on Monday the 22nd of July. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to prepare for an exciting Term 3.
Warm regards,
Dr Ahdielah Edries
